I made a video call through WhatsApp and have recorded it for about 10 mins through screen recording. And when I went to check gallery the video is not there. I don’t remember saving the video either. But I see it will auto save once you start to record? Please help how ithe video was not saved.

Yes I have the same problem. Just that my video must have been about 20 mins long. For short videos, there’s a notification that pops up saying ‘video stores in photos’ but for long videos I guess it takes time. For extra long videos, I think it checks memory and then decides what to do with it. But then later I got a pop up saying ‘this item cannot be downloaded due to low storage’. I didn’t really have any ongoing/pending downloads so I’m assuming it was the screen recorded video.

Anyway if that was the case, iOS should cut out the video as soon as it reaches max available storage.

Hi, Wiky, thanks for using our app and we are sorry for the delay reply. To start with, we would like to explain that WhatsApp is the third party software, which will store data in Whatsapp by itself instead of Camera/Photos. To recover deleted Whatsapp data, we recommend you to give PhoneRescue a try? If the trial version can help you scan out the deleted data, the pro version can help you retrieve them back. If not, the issue is caused for Data Recovery Principles. And please do not purchased it. To get more info:
